We have asked some of our guides for their favorite spots in Ireland during our amazing small group tours and here is what they came up with.
Clodagh:
There are too many great places we visit but if I would have to pick on it must be the top of Mount Brendon. Its a beautiful trek up and on a clear day you look back toward the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. You can also the Skellig Islands. The biggest one Skellig Michael. This is one of Ireland`s most important early Christian sites and is currently a UNESCO world heritage site. It was also featured in the last Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, and fans from all over the world visit this spot.
Once you reach the top you look over the other side of the Dingle Peninsula. During your small group tour, you will discover the beautiful beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. The first thing you see is tiny lakes scattered all over the mountains. If you look further a field you see the Atlantic Ocean. Its this view that always amazes and as a tour guide I am really lucky to see this every so often.

My favorite spot during my small group tour must be Galway. This little city seems to have it all. I love the fact that on a nice day everyone gathers around the Spanish Arch for a few drinks. Its also a very international city with loads of people gathering from all over the world. During the summer months every evening in Galway feels like a Friday, the town is always busy and has some amazing pubs with life music. Another great thing about Galway are the festivals that keep entertaining during these months. Galway is the place for me.
