We Provide Small Group Tours of Ireland
With small groups, we can give our guests a great level of care and attention, and adjust our tours to the needs of individual groups as we go. Small group tours ensure you maximize your time in the Emerald Isle.
- You don’t have to wait around for 40 people to get a move on at every stop. Fewer people means more experiences to enjoy during your stay.
- We have flexibility in where we stay and what we can do as a smaller group of people.
- We are fortunate to stay in some of the best guesthouses in the country and we can drive to more spots off the beaten path in a smaller vehicle.

Our Ireland Tour Reviews Speak for Themselves:
We received a great review from one of our guests who travelled with us on the Ultimate Ireland Tour Package. We thought we would share this with you guys as it provides a great insight into what to expect on your Ireland adventure tour. We would like to thank Jorge for this awesome review:
“I travelled with the Overland guys through Ireland. I am from Girona in Spain and didn’t feel confident enough to drive on the other side of the road. Plus I thought it was an awesome way to meet other people and have a bit of ‘the craic’ as they say in Ireland.
Our guide, Clodagh, picked us up in Dublin and the first thing I noticed was that our transportation was comfortable which was nice after a big party in Dublin. We straight away travelled south to the Rock of Cashel which was really impressive. We had some lunch in Cork and Clodagh made excellent restaurant recommendations along the way. The food was delicious. That day we also got to kiss the Blarney Stone and we stayed in one of the nicest towns I have ever seen, Kinsale, where we had a great night out.
After a few too many Guinness in the pub we got up early and had a refreshing introduction to the Atlantic Ocean with a stand-up paddle boarding session. The water was crystal clear and really calm which made for a great experience. The Ireland adventure tour continued with some beautiful scenery along the Ring of Kerry. We stopped in Dingle for two nights. In Dingle, we went kayaking and saw Fungie the dolphin on the water. The food and the nightlife were great again – lots of nice music, seafood, Guinness, and time with the other guests in the group.
After Dingle, we made our way West towards the Cliffs of Moher. Instead of parking on the main entrance, we parked at a little secret spot and had a beautiful hike along the cliffs. It’s these little secret spots that make trips special and stand out from the crowds. The people on tour were also really nice and since this is a small group tour it was easy to get to know everyone and make new friends. I hope to stay in touch with them all and maybe return to Ireland together someday.
The days went so quickly because we were having so much fun and before we knew it we were in Galway. We did a cycle tour of the city which was really informative and it also gave us a good feeling of the city. It’s not really a city compared to what we are used to in Spain. It has a real small-town feeling and you could see that Clodagh grew up in Galway as she was really knowledgeable and passionate about the place. During the evening time, we had some awesome Italian food in Il Vicolo and again a late night with the group which was super fun.
The next day we were supposed to head to the Aran Islands, but most of us wanted to see some more of Galway, so we decided to skip this. Our guide was flexible and reorganized our accommodation and activities at the last minute. We traveled to Westport later that day through one of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen. The scenery in Connemara on the famine road was stunning and dramatic at the same time.
On our last day of our Ireland adventure tour, we were put to the test by hiking Croagh Patrick. It’s Ireland’s holiest mountain and most of us wished we would have taken it a little easier the night before. We all made it to the top and Clodagh was really proud of us. The view over Clew Bay was worth every minute of the climb.
We were all super sad to be returning to Dublin to end our tour. We had an amazing time and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with a sense of adventure. It’s also great if you are a solo traveller. It really was the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and scenery as they claim on their website.
I hope to come back someday and maybe bring some more friends with me.”
