Background

I have worked in the Travel & Tourism industry for the past 24 years and truly believe that when your hobby becomes your job, you never work a day in your life. Having lived in many places over the years, I moved home to The Burren, Ireland seven years ago to raise our children and couldn’t be happier living in the countryside and enjoying all that the west of Ireland has to offer.

In the summer, I love day trips to the local beaches of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan, buying little fishing nets to catch small crabs in Bishop’s Quarter, and going on long walks with our children and dog in Coole Park. Weekends are usually spent pitch-side, as our children keep me busy with their many activities.

Likes: I love entertaining and having friends over for dinner, enjoy the odd glass of wine, and have taken wine and champagne courses over the years thanks to my appreciation for a really good wine. My motto is: “Life is a journey and not a rehearsal.”

Favourite place in Ireland: My favourite place in Ireland  and of course where I grew up  is The Burren in County Clare. There truly is nowhere like it in the world. The landscape is wild, windswept, and completely unique, with its limestone pavements stretching across a rugged, almost otherworldly terrain. It’s a place full of hidden beauty and stunning spots just waiting to be explored.
