Meet Sean

Sean of Overland Ireland stands smiling for the camera with his arms folded. He’s wearing a tan fleece and jeans. Sean stands on the grassy bank of the River Corrib in Galway, Ireland, the colorful houses of the Long Walk partly visible on the other side of the water.

Background

Born and raised on the outskirts of Galway City, my love for Ireland spans into my past with experience in planning incentive holidays and event management. I’m a sports enthusiast with a passion for rugby, and cannot get enough of the outdoors. My love for nature and desire to travel get on like a house on fire! I always look for the road less travelled, finding as many hidden gems as possible when out exploring.

Likes: Hikes in the sun, morning coffees while out for a walk, food (and lots of it!), match days, particularly when Galway or Ireland are playing, and as expected… a good bit of craic.

Dislikes: Monday mornings, Guinness not poured in the right glass, and rainy days.

Favourite Place in Ireland: There’s nothing better than watching the sun go down on Galway Bay! Jumping off the Blackrock diving tower in Salthill is not for the faint-hearted with the cold Atlantic Ocean, but in the summer months, it’s one of the best places in Ireland to swim!

Languages: English, and a couple of words here and there of German and French from my travels, and of course, I cannot forget the cúpla focal as Gaeilge!
