    Day 1:Dublin to Portstewart

Total driving time: 4 hours, excluding stops

Let’s go! Your Irish adventure is about to begin. Leaving Dublin behind, you will dive straight into the rich Irish history with a visit to Crumlin Gaol in Belfast! Immerse yourself in tales from ‘The Troubles’.

Treats are just around the corner with a secret food tour of Belfast! Soak up some more fascinating history and culture on this culinary journey in Northern Ireland’s capital city!

Then we’re off to the far north with a visit to Portstewart on the famous Causeway Coast! You can almost touch Scotland from here!

Another day jam-packed with real Irish experiences awaits.

    Day 2:The Causeway Coast

Total driving time: 1 hour 30 minutes, excluding stops

Time to burn off the food tour and take on a hike along the Causeway Coast! Explore the Giant’s Causeway, which is one of the most anticipated experiences on our small-group Ireland tours and never disappoints.

The Causeway Coastal Route is breathtaking and the tales of giants and Irish legends will certainly entertain. Build up your nerves to cross the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and feel the air rush beneath your feet!

The oldest distillery in the world will be ready to welcome you with open arms! Spend the late afternoon warming your belly with whiskey tasting at Bushmills and learn all about the history of ‘Uisce Beatha – The water of life’ from the experts!

    Day 3:Portstewart to Ardara

Total driving time: 3 hours, excluding stops

Next on our bucket list for Northern Ireland is Derry! Our friends will take you on a walking tour of the city, helping you to understand the complexities of the divide between North and South!

Then the Hills of Donegal await! It’s a rugged landscape, and the even more rugged locals will take your breath away.

Our first stop at Glenveagh National Park has it all! It is an ideal escape for nature lovers. The group will be encouraged to take a wonderful walk through the park and discover the Victorian Castle and Gardens. There are trails to suit everyone taking you through Derryveath, Errigal, and the Poisoned Glen.

Relax and unwind in Ardara – a true rural traditional village.

    Day 4:Donegal to Belleek Castle

Total driving time: 3 hours 30 minutes, excluding stops

The Stairway to Heaven Boardwalk is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Ireland! A challenging hike with ample photo opportunities to make everyone green with envy back home! The route takes in Ireland’s largest blanket bog and you will be rewarded at the viewing platform with stunning views.

Feeling a little stiff after bouncing around the spectacular North of Ireland? We will take you and your tender muscles to the celebrated sea-weed baths in the seaside town of Enniscrone on the Wild Atlantic Way for a good soak!

Beleek Castle, famed for its luxurious accommodation and award-winning food, is your home for the night!

Day 5:North West Mayo to Westport

Total driving time: 2 hours 30 minutes, excluding stops

Prepare to steer off the beaten track! Your local guide will take you right into the heart of County Mayo! Today you will visit the striking Céide Fields, located along the dramatic Wild Atlantic Way. Unearth the Stone Age past at this Neolithic Site.

A stone’s throw away from the Céide Fields, we will take you to see Downpatrick Head, its rock formations, and a former church founded by the man responsible for St Patrick’s Day! Legend says St Patrick caused the sea stack to break away from the mainland by striking his staff on the ground! Admire the views with a short hike along the coast to the viewing point.

We are delighted to bring you to Ireland’s favorite town – Westport! Get your dancing shoes on and spend the evening at a traditional Irish music session at Matt Molloy’s Bar! It will be a night you won’t forget!

    Day 6:Westport to Galway

Total driving time: 2 hours, excluding stops

Drive through Connemara National Park and Killary (Ireland’s only fjord) en route to Bohemian Galway City! Take a fun stop at Killary to see a sheepdog show! Our friendly local farmer will amaze you, commanding his loyal sheepdog to round up his flock on the grassy banks of the fjord.

Our good pal John is next on the itinerary. He will take you on a ‘Walkin’, Talkin’, Tastin’’ history tour of Galway! Soak up the atmosphere of this Medieval city busting with culture, craic, and award-winning restaurants and pubs!

Day 7:The Aran Islands and Lahinch

Total driving time: 2 hours, excluding stops

We always recommend seeing the Wild Atlantic Coastline by boat! Today is the ultimate in Irish cliff and island experiences.

We leave Galway and drive west to Rossaveal Pier along the coast road before sailing across Galway Bay to the Aran Islands. Our destination is the rugged Inishmore, the largest of the three Aran Islands.

You will explore the island by cycling along the meandering roads. You will meet many locals along your journey and you might even pick up a few words of Gaelic! The tour of the island will take you to the stone fort of Dún Aengus which lies 100m above the ocean!

The crossing back to the mainland will go straight across Galway Bay to Doolin! You will view the Cliffs of Moher from the sea and get an idea of just how enormous they are!

Tonight you are staying in the lively surf capital of Ireland, Lahinch!

Day 8:The Cliffs of Moher to Dingle

Total driving time: 3 hours, excluding stops

Before we journey further south, another natural beauty awaits – The Cliffs of Moher. The best way to take in everything is a short hike along the edge of the cliffs with the roaring Atlantic below providing the perfect soundtrack!

You will cross the River Shannon by ferry and enter into the Kingdom of Kerry! Journey on over the Conor Pass where your first taste of Kerry awaits – the cozy coastal town of Dingle!

The evening is yours to experience the atmosphere in Dingle’s quirky pubs and fantastic restaurants!

Day 9:The Slea Head Peninsula – Dingle

Total driving time: 1 hour 30 minutes, excluding stops

No need to pack your bags today! You are going to experience all things wonderful in Dingle and its surroundings.

Your local expert guide will take you on a breathtaking trip along the Slea Head Drive. Expect amazing scenery around every corner, beehive huts, and stunning beaches. You might even be lucky enough to pet a baby lamb! Again there are a serious amount of Insta opportunities!!

After lunch and a browse around Dingle’s many craft shops, it’s time to get active again! We have a trio of activities for you to choose from. Take a hike up to Eask Tower for panoramic views of Dingle Bay, go kayaking around the bay with our good friend Noel, or why not take an e-bike to explore some more of the Dingle Peninsula?

Spend a second evening getting to know Dingle and find more hot spots for food and entertainment!

Day 10:Killarney National Park – Kinsale

Total driving time: 3 hours, excluding stops

Today we will squeeze in a few hot spots along the Ring of Kerry before experiencing Killarney National Park.

Take a cheeky lookout at Moll’s Gap, Ladies View, and Torc Waterfall!

When we arrive in Killarney National Park you can hop on a bike and enjoy a two-hour ride around the wonderful surroundings. Cycling along the lake and through the park is a magical way to while away the afternoon taking in sights like Muckross House and Gardens, Torc Waterfall, and Ross Castle.

Last but not least is your night in the historic port and fishing town of Kinsale! It is renowned for its arts, crafts, and most importantly its food. There is no better place to enjoy a delicious meal of seafood or even a relaxed tapas evening! Your guide will point you in the right direction!

    Day 11:Kinsale to Dublin

Total driving time: 4 hours, excluding stops

Wake up refreshed and meet our local guide, Barry, who will take you through the streets of Kinsale for a fascinating historical walking tour!

Before leaving Cork – which is often referred to as Ireland’s REAL capital – we will bring you to Blarney Castle and Gardens. Nobody should leave Ireland without giving the Blarney stone a big fat kiss! Kissing the stone is said to give the kisser the treasured “gift of the gab”. You can let us know if it works!

The final stop on this tour of Ireland is the Rock of Cashel. This mystical place is over 1,000 years old! You will take in its medieval round tower, chapel, cathedral, and castle… a truly fantastic end to your trip.

Our guides will journey back with you to our bustling capital city, Dublin, where you’ll be armed with great recommendations of things to see and do if you have a little time left. Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to sit back and reminisce about the incredible experience you’ve just had… and to start daydreaming about more tours of Ireland in the future!
