The Blarney Stone: On your trip to Ireland you will have to kiss the legendary Blarney stone on the beautiful grounds of the Blarney castle. The castle was build about 600 years ago by some of Ireland greatest chieftans, Cormac MacCarty, and has been attracting millions of visitors ever since. The grounds have amazing gardens, buildings and off course the Blarney stone.
The Rock of Cashel: This is a spectacular assessment of Medieval buildings set on a hill of limestone surrounded at the one side by the beautiful town of Cashel and on the other side endless rural landscapes. Some of the buildings include a 12th century round tower which are very unique to Ireland, a High Cross, 13th century Gothic cathedral and off course the 15th century castle. Ross Castle: Ross castle is located in the beautiful surroundings of Killarney National Park. Ross Castle sits on the edge of Killarney’s lower lake and was built by O’Donoghue Mór in the 15th century. Its a typical Irish tower house which is a sort of castle and typical for Ireland. This is one of the few castles you can visit inside and which is open to the public. It was restored by the OPW and is one of Ireland`s finest examples.
